On 21 June 2005, the inaugural event of <\/span><\/a>TEVERETERNO<\/span><\/a> was launched by founder and artistic director <\/span>Kristin Jones<\/span><\/a>. She unveiled a majestic frieze of 12 iconic Roman she-wolves, emerging from the patina of the Tiber River’s 13 meter high embankment walls. At sunset on opening night, 2,758 candles were lit along the embankments to commemorate the number of years since the legendary founding of Rome. \u00a0More than 4000 people attended the opening.<\/span><\/p>\n
