SILENT WITNESSES: PORTALS was partially funded by the Foundation Ténot and completed on a fellowship at the Centre d’Art – Marnay Art Centre (CAMAC) in the village of Marnay-sur-Seine east of Paris.

It is one of a series of three sets of nine lithographs entitled “Silent Witnesses”, that document seemingly ordinary or unseen architectural elements and return them to the consciousness of a community, acknowledging them as living “members” of that community.  The selected architectural elements define the persona of each village, and have acted as silent witnesses to its history.
